Chapter 9: In this chapter Anne returns from the Queen's privy chambers and her father and the Duke of Suffolk. They ask her to take down Cardinal Wolsey. She tells them that now is not the right time. Later in the chapter the court leaves to go to another castle, The palace of Richmond.
Chapter 10: In this chapter they make it Richmond. This is where 21st century Anne meets Cardinal Wolsey, they get in an argument but before he has time to come up with a come back they are interrupted by one of his men saying that they've heard from France on the King's annulment from Katherine. The king of France has denied to give his word because he doesn't think it is a good to go through with it. This makes the king mad.
Chapter 11: In this chapter they travel to Greenwich. They have a party when they get there and Anne and her brother decide to go off and ride, when they get back they're father is furious with them. The king ask Anne where she was and she told him that she was off riding with her brother, that she couldn't stand seeing Henry with Katherine any longer. That it hurt her. Later on he ask her to come to his room that night, he had a surprise for her. The surprise was that she would get her own ladies in waiting.
Chapter 12: During this chapter Henry finds out about the rumors spreading around and he confronts his court as to who was doing it. Anne tells him that it may be better for her to go back home for the time being, that may be the rumors will settled down and she will return to court in the spring. So she goes home.
