Chapter 19: In this chapter Anne goes out with her friends to the garden when Nan comes and tells her that the book has been taken. She said her lover had caught her reading it and he wanted to read it to. When he was one of Wolsey's men came in where he was reading and took it once he realized what it was. After this Anne went and told the king what happened and he said that he would get it back and not to worry about it.

Chapter 20: In this chapter Dr. Foxe returns from meeting with the Pope and he has good news. 21st Century Anne  realizes that Henry and Anne may be married before and that history could be changing right before her eyes.

Chapter 21: Anne talks about how she caught a chill at the beginning of May and explains how it sucks not having medicine. Anne decides to take a walk since she feels better. When she gets back to her chambers her mother stops her and tells her that she is not able to go back in her chambers for the sweating sickness is back and Bess has caught it. She also tells her that they have to return to Hever right away, but she has to go see the king, her mother tells her that he has already left and her brother must go with him. This makes her angry that the king has fled without her and she can't help but think that he has taken his wife with him. At the end of this chapter Bess has died.

Chapter 22: In this chapter Anne has a terrifying dream and she wakes up to hear her mother crying, so she ask her what is wrong. Her mother tells her that George has caught the sweating sickness. But he ends up recovering from it and is fine, she also mentions that her father will get it but will recover from it also. At the end of the chapter she catches the sweating sickness and her mother is trying to keep her awake but she goes into a deep sleep.
